I was wondering what the average economic background of the CCer is. I have been a member of this website for about 2 years now, and have seen everything from the uber rich to the really poor. So now I want to put together a list of economic backgrounds and how they effect the whole college process.
It is generally assumed that money will get you into a top school, but I am not so sure. I now that it can give you a leg up, but lets really see if this theory is really true. So if you want to be apart of my list then post your stats.
Parents annual income: Around 80,000
Field of parents work: Military
Parents edu: highest=high school
Area you live in: middle class
School: local public high school
hist of education: I have only went to public schools
SAT score: 1750+
GPA: 3.5uw./4.0w
top of class at high school
high school activities: clubs/ volunteer
internships/education trips: none…couldn’t afford any
asspiration: to go to a top LAC…like Bryn Mawr…with a scholarship 
So anyone else???
