<p>I was thinking the same thing. More than likely, there will be an effect. My estimation is that if the circumstances were normal, and with the addition of the Common App, there would be a 23%-ish acceptance rate. Now, that figure may be at the 25% level.</p>
<p>I don’t know that it will make a big difference in acceptances; my hunch is that the difference will show up in yield when families do the caluclations and see how affordable their top choices are in reality, not theory.</p>
