<p>I am currently a freshmen at Penn State University. I have a 3.5 after my first semester, and eventually plan on going to a good business school. I was just wondering what kind of jobs within the corporate world I could get with an economics major.</p>

<p>Is Economics a good major for Investment Banking?</p>
<p>Yes, ibanks recruit a lot of economics majors. For example, Harvard and Stanford recruitly heavily by ibanks do not have any type of business major whatsoever (not even business economics or management science, etc).</p>
<p>To be fair, Stanford does have a management science and engineering major. I’m not sure about Harvard, but I know both schools have no undergraduate business degree.</p>
