what’s the economics major like?
I don’t know much about economics, but it seems interesting, but I’ve heard that it’s extremely difficult. can anyone provide some insight?

Take macro and micro economics, which are typically intro level social science courses offered at all colleges. If you find you love it after those classes then there are several different pathways to go for an Economics degree.

Some pathways are more math based, which may be interpreted by others as “extremely difficult”. That doesn’t mean they will be extremely difficult for you. If you are bad at math and analysis, then you may find Economics difficult.

Macro and Micro economics.

Macroeconomics is a study of economics in terms of whole systems especially with reference to general levels of output and income and to the interrelations among sectors of the economy.

Microeconomics is a study of economics in terms of individual areas of activity.

I prefer micro over macro but you need to know both.
