Economics vs Business

<p>How strong is the economics program? And about how many students apply? % of acceptance?
I know it is a joint program between the College of Humanities and Social Sciences and the Tepper School of Business.
Do they have any advantages? I’m interested in international finance and the economics program offers study abroad. I’m also worried that the economics program is not as recognized as the business program at Tepper.
What are the chances of getting into the Economics programs vs the Business program?</p>

<p>You are MUCH more likely to be accepted into economics than Tepper. But don’t take that as “the business program is much better.” Honestly, I couldn’t tell you which is better. But I do know that Tepper’s MBA program (after college) is quite good.</p>
