<p>For current students: are there any film clubs? Or even a film scene? If not, are there a numerous amount of theatre-related events? </p>
<p>Also, what are some interesting (read: odd) activities you have been in?</p>
<p>The film scene is ridiculous. At least when it comes to international film festivals: there’s the Israeli, French, German, etc., plus there’s MCM concentrators, plus there’s Avon on Thayer and Cable Car down the hill, and if there isn’t a specific film club that you want, starting one would not be at all difficult (and even without making it official, you should always be able to find people willing to watch with you, provided you’re sociable).</p>

<p>One funny/odd activity my daughter did was the giant slip and slide. Too bad she fell on her head somehow and got a concussion and had to go to the hospital. Don’t know if that’s something they have every year.</p>
<p>^^Sorry about that. I’m fairly certain there are a non-negligible number of people who are interested, but I wouldn’t know if there’s an actual club.</p>
<p>^ I’m pretty sure we have the slip n’ slide every year for spring weekend (might be a different week, but I think I’m right).</p>
