<p>I plan on applying to Amherst, Claremont McKenna, Columbia, Cornell, Dartmouth, Stanford you get the picture. This isn’t really a chance but more of a help me pick which extracurriculars to put into my common app as I’m restricted to 10.</p>

<li>Jazz- Lead trumpet in 3 different bands, various soloist awards</li>
<li>Band- President, Principal trumpet/soloist in 5 orchestras, various awards, 2 guest soloists</li>
<li>Research Intern at University of Chicago- 2 years, spoke at the summer student research forum, spent 15 hr/week</li>
<li>Gymnastics Captain- founded a team at the club, various awards</li>
<li>Founded Animal Welfare Nonprofit, led a campaign with 90 people to pass a bill</li>
<li>Volunteering at various animal shelters, marketing internship with one of them</li>
<li>Intern at PETA- on the youth advisory board</li>
<li>Marathon Runner- Various 2nd place finishes</li>
<li>President of Chemistry Club- increased membership by 50 people, organized a local chemistry league among nearby high schools</li>
<li>Minimum Wage Work- Head tutor ( I could also include this in the additional information section I guess)</li>
<li>Varsity Rowing</li>
<li>Editor of Literary Magazine</li>
<li>Treasurer of National Honor Society- organized a bunch of animal related service projects</li>
<li>Summer Internship in Animal Welfare Law- 2 years (I’m interested in going into law so this might be important)</li>

<p>To put this in context my ACT is a 35 and gpa 3.8something
