ECs for Rice

I am a rising senior and I plan on applying to Rice University. I don’t know much about Rice admissions except that they are very rigorous and I would love to have some input on how strong/weak my ECs are. I don’t really have a decided major but i tried to focus on leadership and volunteering. Please evaluate and thanks in advance for any advice! :)

evaluate and do what??

trying to “boost” this page in your senior year is sadly obvious to Rice and anyone else… so yeah… thats what you got. apply and see

Not much you can do about an ec list during you’re senior year…
Lucky for you your list is fine
Hopefully you really enjoyed the ec’s you were involved in and you can write a killer activity essay

Colleges don’t look much at ECs done during your senior year, like look at it as less important than the ones done before senior year (unless you are continuing to do something you have done quite regularly). Why? Because they know that students will be trying to squeeze in as much ECs as possible and most of them are for college application sake. The exception is if you are continuing to do what you have done already, it shows commitment. I wouldn’t really try to start a new EC right now, but instead try to work more on the current ECs. Your ECs are fine, I mean they are quite scattered but it’s not going to kill you, it’s not really that weak, I would say average.

PS. Amdn you might want to delete one of your posts because they are the same.
