EC's needed for TAG?

<p>My D has submitter her TAG application and will be submitting her UCSB application next month. While attending her CC she has not had much involvement in school activities (except many, many parties in Isla Vista…haha), how important are EC’s when a student TAGS’s. She did have a lot of EC’s while in high school, should she include these on her application? She is going to go join some clubs this week but she was just wondering how important they are and what she should mention…</p>

<p>ECs are irrelevant for TAG. You can list high school (and college, of course) ECs on the regular application though.</p>

<p>BTW, you sound surprisingly nonchalant about your daughter going to Isla Vista parties, haha.</p>

<p>Thanks underbear, and yep…she has lived in Isla Vista for 1 1/2 years and I have made the mistake of trying to drive through there on a Saturday night…</p>
