<p>i very recently started taking school seriously and i’m VERY worried about college. i know i’m extremely smart, but i look like an idiot on my transcript.
african american female
public high school
SAT 2100
GPA 3.1uw/3.6w
my transcript does have c’s…
3 APs junior year, 5 APs senior year (first quarter report will likely be all A’s, should contrast other grades nicely)
and without giving too much info away, my EC’s are pretty interrelated, passionate.</p>

<p>so horrible grades, high(ish) SAT, semi-rigorous schedule, consistent ECs, URM</p>

<p>SATs good, GPA sounds a bit low but could be overlooked with all those AP classes and ECs. Do you have any leadership positions? Write a confident, strong college essay (like how you’ve confidently said “i know i’m extremely smart”) and I’d suggest going to interviews, visit the university and show your interest.</p>
