ED and EA deadlines.

<p>So i applied ED to Hamilton, and the decision comes around December 15th. The EA deadline however, in most of the colleges, is December 1st. Can I EA into colleges while I’m being processed for ED acceptance? Because I heard we’re not supposed to apply to any colleges until we get the decision for ED.</p>

<p>You should check Hamiliton’s prohibitions. Also most EA deadlines were Nov 1.</p>

<p>Well I’m applying EA to dickinson, and its EA deadline is December 1. No one at Hamilton is responsive. I emailed them a week ago regarding my application status, still no reply. I doubt they’ll reply before the deadline itself.</p>

<p>Look over the language of yoru Hamilton ED agreement. It should state explicitly if you’re prohibited from applying to other EA programs. Some ED programs have this limitation, some don’t. Your reading of the agreement should give you the info you need.</p>

<p>Hamilton follows the general practice that allows ED applicants to apply to other schools. You can apply EA to Dickinson while your ED application at Hamilton is pending.
