Or those absurd late-night chats, where even those of us on Eastern Standard Time were up at 3 a.m. to make poor sexual innuendos and gossip about other members of CC? Wow, those were the [extremely stressed-out] days…

Haha, yes, I have seen what those guys look like, and … wow. Good-looking is right. And if the kids at Princeton are anything like their CC counterparts, reassure him that they’re not going to be at all snobby - I mean, Philntex may be a little off-kilter, but snobby? Nahhh, even now when he wants to get into Ivy after reading “The Rule of Four,” he still couldn’t be snobby if he tried. (Yes, I read and remember everything on CC compulsively, Phil.) Seriously, since from what you’ve told us of him, Cookie-son seems really nice, so I’m sure he’ll have no problem defrosting people.

I’m not allowing myself to think about that possibility anymore. I’ve cut off that section of my brain that’s “what-if”-ing the P in order to preserve my sanity this week. (And yes, I do have some degree of sanity remaining… despite what you may think.)

Now, now, she can’t just cut in front of me in line… I’ve been waiting since all the way before ED decisions! I so have dibs on Cookie-son. ;)

No, but he told me he’s going to be on the lookout for one at Princeton.

MommyPain- I have an older son at Notre Dame and neither he nor his three roommates (two of whom are drop dead gorgeous) have girlfriends. He says there are so many good looking guys there, that the girls have their pick something for your daughter to consider.

Kat 1 definitely has dibs. =)
[Wow, we sound strange…I think this decision week is getting to me. Wait, me? Get to me? Pshh, never. …and who am I kidding?]

Awwww… good luck, Kebree! Try to enjoy Europe (or at least distract yourself with many European desserts and men) instead of stressing - easier said than done, I realize.

And we can share Cookie-son, 'Bree. He can be community property - although I don’t know how happy his mum will be about that idea.

What time is Yale putting their decisions up? If they’re up today, it seems like they’re jumping the gun a bit. (Not that I’m checking the pages of the colleges I applied to, manically… in hopes that they post them early. No, not at all…)

Don’t get me started. Over Midwinter Break, we were in Park City, UT for skiing… And at the same hotel we stayed at, a British boys high school was having a collective holiday. 50 gorgeous, goregous, gorgeous men with extremely attractive accents…

See what happens to me when you mention British males?! I could ramble on about them forever, instead of going back down to the beach like I’m supposed to.

Earlier I knew I was going to go about this in a calm, cool, and collected way.
I was not going to check more than 3 times per hour (a compromise, regrettably).
I was not going to think about it too much or post obsessively on CC.
I was going to read part of my art history textbook.

I was going to achieve a perfect golden brown color without using self-tanner.
I was going to stare unabashedly at the stomach muscles of the gorgeous boys playing football in front of our condo.
I was not going to eat all my Easter chocolates to calm my nerves and I was not going to waste the best sun-hours on CC.

By the way, you sounded quite British in your last sentence - the once which utilized the word “quite” quite effectively.

Yeah, I wish they had some message that was pleasant…like “Decisions are currently unavailable” or something, not that “ERROR: You do not have access to the Admissions Decision website.” message…ugh…

EDIT: Sounds like a fun vacation, kat 1.
And yes, I’ve had quite enough practice by now. [<–cheesy, I know. I blame it on nerves.]
