ED Deferred Application Pool

<p>I applied early decision and was deferred back on 12/4/09. I got the “good letter”, sent in my first semester grades (3.81 unweighted, 3.89 weighted) because it was my best semester of HS, sent a personal supplemental letter to my admissions counselor at U of M, etc. </p>

<p>I was wondering how many people are in the same boat as I am in terms of applying ED, being deferred, getting the “good letter”, still haven’t heard back, etc?</p>

<p>Pretty much in the same boat with the same stats. Hoping for the best. Accepted to NYU, MSU but really want to go to UM.</p>

<p>My son is in the same boat. He has decided to go to school elsewhere, though, so it doesn’t much matter anymore. He would just like to be accepted, because he isn’t too pleased that he was deferred. :)</p>
