Is it true that the application pool during EA/ED is less competitive and most of the applicants who apply ED/EA mostly have low to medium GPA and okay SAT/ACT, right? Since the less competitive pool somehow helps to boost the chance even with an ok GPA and SAT/ACT?
No. Many colleges are on record as saying that they will not admit a student EA/ED that they would not admit RD. As to whether there is an admissions advantage to applying EA/ED, this will depend upon the college.
