ED/EA increase

<p>Looks like Dickinson is moving up in the popularity ranks-- ED was up 15%, and now the New York Times says EA (to which my daughter applied) is up a whopping 40%. This might just be more kids throwing in a whole lot more applications (we just heard about a friend’s kid who applied to a ridiculous 24 schools), or maybe it will be getting a lot more competitive. </p>

<p>Sounds like the ED decisions are out-- maybe we’ll see some CC posts from those kids soon.</p>

<p>I bet schools that offer EA tend to see annual increases in applications in this day of the Common Ap. Applicants, like my daughter have the opportunity to hopefully get an acceptance early in the process without th ED commitment</p>
