<p>How much is the school willing to negotiate in terms of finacial aid. My parents basically said we’re able to afford the school and I also have a fairly large sum of money in my name that can be used for education but I would still like to know how much room there is to negotiate.</p>
<p>My friend put down he was able to pay $10k a year.</p>
<p>They only gave him $6k in fin aid. I would assume not much.</p>
<p>really b/c i met with the director of finaid and he said that since they are need aware for ED candidates they work to negotiate with the students and almost never are they unable to reach a middle ground.</p>
<p>Maybe his case is unique then, but that’s what happened.</p>
