<p>i’ve never heard of this. neither has my high school counselor. if you’re on the semester system then the first grades that go to schools are at the end of the first semester in janurary.</p>
<p>Many ED and EA schools require first quarter grades. I’m not positive Wesleyan does (and it’s true that they don’t appear on the Wescheck list) - but I wouldn’t be surprised. Colleges often call the h.s. guidance office to get quarter/midterm grades for EA and ED applications, even if they do not require a formal submission of them. </p>
