<p>I was admitted EDI and already payed the deposit and will be enrolling at NYU this fall. Since the contract is binding and I’ve agreed to enroll at NYU, I know I am supposed to withdraw my applications at any other schools I’ve applied too.</p>

<p>However, I am getting nervous as three schools have not responded my withdrawal email yet. The rest of the schools I’ve applied to have already notified me that they’ve withdrawn my application. </p>

<p>The deadline to pay your deposit to enroll for EDI is two days away on January 16th. I remember reading on the NYU website that by Jan 16th, there cannot be any active applications at any other schools. As you can see, I am getting very nervous about that because three schools still have not emailed me back. Will NYU somehow know that I have applications still out at three schools? I am trying my best to contact them to withdraw my application however.</p>

<p>I was very busy and traveling over winter break, so I was unable to withdraw from all of my schools back then and now I’m worried that I’ll break my ED contract! What should I do?</p>

<p>Don’t worry at all. It took about three emails to finally get Pratt to actually withdraw D’s application. It was an ongoing thing. She even got a second acceptance letter in April which once again gave her a generous scholarship. Her first acceptance/scholarship came early action in December. She withdrew (or tried to) immediately.</p>
