<p>If you get defered early decision for duke, could you retake the sat’s in january and send them to duke for them to consider those in place of the one’s that weren’t strong enough? or would it be too late to do that?</p>
<p>I would ask the admissions office to make sure that new scores will be considered, but I think it would be a good idea to send any new info that might make your application more compelling–new awards, better scores, additional recommendation, etc. Same strategy as if you were waitlisted for a school after the regular admissions process.</p>
