I am an ED applicant, and I recently received an email from Princeton saying I could now check the status of my application. I would have to register but then I could log in and check my status.

However, when I try to register, I get this error message:

“We are unable to process your registration. Error Code: 300
Please contact Undergraduate Admissions office.”

I tried changing the email and PIN, and when I did, I got different error messages, so the system has my email and PIN and is registering it correctly (since it tells me that other ones are wrong). I am completely confident that my username and password are good, because I tried about 50 different ones. Also, I have tried to register on multiple computers in multiple web browsers and nothing seems to be working…

I called Princeton’s undergrad admissions office as the error recommended, and they directed me to the help desk. The person at the help desk didn’t have a solution for me, but said that she would call me back after looking into the problem.

My question is, has anyone else run into this problem, or one like it? Has anyone successfully registered and viewed their status? Does anyone know what Error Code: 300 means?

Any tips on what could be wrong and what I could do to fix the problem are appreciated.
