step into bussiness world is my dream, like i-banking, private equity, management consulting, I read many posts and get more confused about how to choose colleges.

1)Go to Top university(even most of them don’t have bussiness program for undergraduate, expect wharton) and have eco education from them?
2)Or go to top LAC has great eco studies?

Now, I do love Wellesley and Yale, can’t decide,
Love Wellesley: campus,people,liberal arts,great economic course(what I heard),and its relationship with MIT!
Love Yale: strong background, great eco studies.

Visit them both. Do not choose a school based on hearsay.

Wellesley is going to be a very different experience from what you would find at Yale. Although, you’d have more research oppurtunities there. In addition, Wellesley is OUTSIDE of Boston, farther than Cambridge. You’d have to drive or take a long T-ride in order to get to MIT, and I don’t think that their relationship with MIT is really anything like the consortium that the Quaker colleges in PA have (ie there isn’t really that much cross-registration).

ED to Wellesley would be binding. Only apply if you are IN LOVE with Wellesley and Wellesley alone.

this is true. Make sure that if you want Wellesley, you want a women’s college. Though I agree that it’s a great school, I feel the students that I know there have not always been prepared for the lack of dudes. FWIW, I think other schools (Smith, Bryn Mawr, Holyoke) tend to attract students who want a women’s college first, and I think the attitude is a little different.

Thx ses&unalove: I did visit both actually,as you say, totally different experience, and (unfortunately) I love both so much…
I was 200% sure i will EA yale before I visited Wellesley, then besides Wellesley let me fall in love with after I did the visit and research about it, also I am thinking this year maybe too many will do EA yale as no EA/ED harvard/princeton any more!
