Hey guys,
So I recall reading that Wharton disapproves of nonprofits. Is this true? Because I run a nonprofit that goes to charter schools and teaches underserved students… I also run a blog that offers stock recommendations and have started an investment club in my school. I’m applying ED so I’m getting pretty concerned @_@

Tons of Wharton students NEVER owned a business or had a stock portfolio before coming to Penn. I doubt this is anything more than a rumor.

Any research would show you that Wharton does not disapprove of non-profits, especially in light of the fact, that their freshman management class has students pair with non-profits.

I don’t see why Wharton would be so discriminating… makes no sense whatsoever for such a well known, prestigious school. That rumour deserves to be squashed.
