Does OOSMA have ED

USMA! It’s the United States Military Academy, I’ve never seen a phoenetic spelling before :)

And it has rolling admissions, so the earlier you apply, the earlier you hear back. The medical process can take a LONG time, so you really should start early

At least I didn’t write OOS’MA. And I do know that it is USMA ><

I would imagine that even though you apply early it won’t increase your chances.

The later you apply, the more people you will be competinh against and for fewer unfilled spots

They raise the requirements for LOA as the time goes on…I would not have gotten one if I had turned in my stuff a week later…So you do have a better chance the earlier you get your stuff in.

so when does the admissons start and should I send it like 15days before because it takes 15 days to get to USMA

You have plenty of time.

First of all, do what you can do is prepare for acceptance into SLS. This would give you an idea of what WP life is like. And your application to SLS actually opens your file so that you will automatically receive an Admissions packet during the summer before your senior year. Prep for the PSAT as the test results are requested on the application.

During the spring of your junior year you’ll want to request nomination packets from each source for which you qualify. They will each have different requirements and instructions. Pay attention to their deadlines.

Also, alert your teachers that you will ask them to write letters of recommendation during the summer before your senior year. Find out how to contact them during the summer with the appropriate information/directions. (I believe you’ll need English, Math, and Science).

Work Out.

Take both the SAT and ACT.

If I recall, you’re a sophomore. So, you have plenty of time to strengthen your application with leadership experiences. Most of all, enjoy your high school years.

Thanks mom’
