<p>If a student applies ED1, are they permitted to submit an ED2 app before they receive ED1 notification? I know that all submitted applications must be withdrawn if you are accepted to your ED school but since ED2 is also binding would withdrawing the application (prior to deadline) be a problem?</p>

<p>It is not permitted to do ED2 before you get your response for ED1. You can, however, have the ED2 application all ready to go, except for hitting the button (or dropping it in the mail), and submit it as soon as you have your ED1 deferral or rejection.</p>
<p>Most GC’s won’t sign the ED2 agreement until the ED1 answer is received.</p>
