I’ve found on another thread:
Quote:
The Sagehens Ive met leave an impression of East Coast edgy softened by LA/SoCal sunshine
Question: what does edgy mean here?

Frantic, on the edge of nervousness, stressed out, and hyper.

CDad has given one meaning of ‘edgy.’ The other meaning is “daringly innovative; on the cutting edge.” That’s the current slang usage. When we describe someone has having ‘edge,’ we generally mean a sense of the ironic and the absurd. Not sure which meaning was intended here.

^ Based on context, its almost certainly the definition CDad gave

Based on experience, I’d say most people are closer to M’s Mom’s definition, as most of the people I’ve met have been similiar to what she said, but more laid back (perhaps due to West Coast attitudes).

But I think in the original quote, it was CDad’s definition that they were trying to convey.
