EDII chances for H&SS? (Totally late.)

GPA: 3.65 W, 3.5 UW (This is my weakest point.)
SAT: 2220 combined, 680 M, 740 W, 800 CR
ACT: 32 (perfect 36 in reading)</p>

<p>Intended major: Creative Writing/English, with a minor in Human Computer Interaction</p>

<p>Recs: Amazing. One teacher was struck down by West Nile virus and still wrote me a rec while bedridden because apparently she’s that fond of me. Go figure.</p>

<p>Essays: Also quite good; I’m an English person. In my supplement I wrote about my passion for being a video game designer and content writer, and how my dream job is to work in that industry and create games for women and girls. My common app essay was about trying to find a balance between my love for technology and my love for writing.</p>

<p>ECs: Water polo & swim, Vice President of comp. sci club (only female member out of like 30 guys), advisor of the city council’s political youth board, webmistress for my school’s website, freelance web designer, Head of Design on our award-winning yearbook staff, Pianist for ten years, founder and president of Book Club, etc, etc. </p>

<p>Awards: Several writing/poetry awards.</p>

<p>I’m trying to look at this from an admissions point of view. You seem to fit the bill perfectly for what the school is all about, the combination of technology and arts. You obviously excell in writing and english, which is what you want to do. I personally would overlook your GPA because you seem to be intelligent enough to pick up yout work ethic in college.</p>
