<p>My son is a junior at a private high school in Arizona with a 4.2 GPA. He has played 2 years varsity tennis. Worked in a grocery store since he was 14 and is now the part time front end manager. Runs a none profit buisness and has played piano for 13 years. He has only taken psat’s and is predicted to score 25 to 29. What is list of schools with less than 4000 that have great education and or buisness majors.</p>
<p>Where does he want to work?</p>
<p>For teaching, state regulations about certification vary quite a bit so it is best for him to study in the state where he wants to work. If he’s interested in a particular school district, then he should study at a college that will place him there for his teacher training practicums. The contacts he makes with principals and teachers will help him get hired when there is a vacancy.</p>
<p>For business, he needs to think about where he can do internships while in college, and which businesses recruit at that college. To a certain extent, business hiring is also local/regional and it makes sense for him to study where he thinks he’d like to work.</p>
<p>How serious is he about music? There are lots of smaller private colleges around this country with good music, education, and business programs that might suit him well. With is grades and scores, he probably would get into just about any one of them.</p>
