Education for no apparent reason except I want to do it

I am debating a couple of options about what to do while I am down here in Phoenix. Would it be worth it to drop $700 on a GMAT prep course (my money) at ASU http://www.asu.edu/studentaffairs/counseling/pep/testprep/testingcourseselection.html</a>
just in order to get a 650-700ish score for no reason to float the idea of maybe going topish tier B-School down the line? My UG GPA is only 2.86. If I do go grad business school, it would more than likely be at Cleveland State (MAcc) where I only need a only need like a 350 on the GMAT in order to qualify. But what would my chances be at like a 10-20th ranked B-School be with a 650-700 GMAT and my GPA? The possibility intrigues me. My other option would be to take some classes at the Maricopa County Community college system, http://www.maricopa.edu/</a> but that would be just for fun really, as I have no reason for further UG courses. I don’t have enough money to take any classes at ASU. Basically this could be a chances thread I guess.

bump .
