I applied to Tulane primarily because they encourage undergrad students to do a 5-year BA/MA or BS/MS. Now that I’ve been accepted and am looking more closely at all of the colleges that I’ve applied to, it seems that whil Tulane offers teacher certification, it doesn’t have an education master’s program, is this correct? Also, for your student teachership, do you usually teach in a New Orleans public school?

I don’t think any “usually’s” apply these days, Blue. Given the transitional state of NOLA schools right now, you should be talking to Tulane directly. The new Lusher school will need people, and so will the other schools, but everything’s changing, so really, contact the school direcctly for good new informaton.
