If I pay my tuition bill in Dec.2015 for classes that I take in January 2016 can I claim these on my 2015 taxes? I think the answer is yes but I just want a reality check.
Claim the payments for what? AOTC? Tuition and fees deduction? Lifetime Learning Credit? Something else? The answer may be “yes” for all of the above, but being specific helps.
