how hard is ee316 and m408l? that combined with a Cs and business class - am I okay?

could you write out the course names…i am not too familiar with the abbreviations

Fortunately, EE316 is changing beginning this year. The class is called Introduction to Digital Logic or something like that. It was formerly a self-paced class of 20 units (Unit 1 through R2). Each unit focused on a different aspect of digital logic (boolean algebra, switching circuits, finite state machines, VHDL etc.). In order to successfully pass a unit, you had to score 100% on the test. You are given 5 chances to retake the test to score a perfect score before points were deducted (you still had to make a perfect score before continuing). With every failed test, you were assigned homework from the book that got progressively longer. Several of the units had a lab component where a working demonstration must be performed for a grader. It was very doable, but nevertheless required a continuous dedication each day to learning new material.

As of this year, the number of students who failed the class on the first try was so high that they turned it into a lecture-based course where (one assumes) perfect grades are not necessary for progression in the course. Lucky you.
