Just wondering, what about is the acceptance rate for EE’s applying to the MSEE program at Johns Hopkins for grad school? I can’t find anything on my own.

I’m graduating from Northwestern University with a 3.65 gpa, and 3.77 in my major. I got a great EE job in Maryland, so I’d like to get my MSEE at Hopkins if I can.

I haven’t taken the GRE yet. I expect to get near 800 on the verbal, but my quantitative will probably not be that great. I’m good at advanced and abstract quantitative reasoning, but if I have to do any arithmetical calculations without a calculator (as with the GRE), I’m guessing I’ll get something in the mid 600’s to lower 700’s. (I only got 720 on my best take of the math portion of the SAT. And that was with A LOT of preparation. On the other hand, I effortlessly scored 800’s on the verbal part multiple times.) I’ve always gotten by like this, since almost all teachers are very forgiving on arithmetical errors if you get the main ideas correct.

Thanks for any input.
