<p>My EFC is in and it is about $20K short of the tuition at the school my son is attending. What can I expect for aid and in what form?</p>

<p>Now that you have the EFC you know what the Feds have qualified you to receive. How much funding and in what form is totally dependent on your school. If you qualified for Pell Grant or SEOG then you will take those amounts as grants first.</p>

<p>Your son already in the college? Then easiest way to call and talk to FA department.
Otherwise check collegeboard.com and/or usnews.com for typical distribution of FA package at your son’s colleges.</p>
