Effective topic for AP EC essay (150 words)?

<p>***EDIT for the thread topic I meant CA for common app, for some reason it came out AP. To much studying for AP Econ class, I guess, lol.</p>

<p>I’m planning to write my EC essay on my involvement in saving the orchestra program from elimination by the school board. Would that topic show my dedication to orchestra and music, or is it too irrelevant? I was going for something more original than just talking about playing the violin, but I’m not sure if it constitutes as elaborating on the activity itself.</p>
