AP Calculus is an elective course for me, as such, I only intend to complete 5 or 6 out of the 10 units(each giving me 1 credit), so that I can focus on my other courses and review pre-calculus in my spare time in order to construct a more solid foundation for future math studies and better prepare myself for my first semester of math at UIUC. My decision to learn only 6-7 units out of the 10 units of AP Calculus will not affect my graduation and I will still obtain the academic with honours diploma since I have completed the required courses at a standard accepted by the school. My question is whether or not my decision to take only 5-6 AP Calculus courses would affect my admissions offer. I currently have an unconditional offer.
