<p>I was looking at the Timetable for Spring 2009 at the BIOE website ([Department</a> of Bioengineering: Undergraduate Study](<a href=“http://cohesion.rice.edu/engineering/bioe/undergrad.cfm?doc_id=8025]Department ”>http://cohesion.rice.edu/engineering/bioe/undergrad.cfm?doc_id=8025 )). Are the regular Elective classes Rice’s core curriculum classes? If so, where can I find a list of this. I didn’t have any luck searching at this late hour.</p>

<p>I don’t know if the “regular elective” classes refers to distribution requirements or not, but a list of distribution requirements is in the “General Announcements” book which you may have already received in the mail, but which is also available here (last year’s):</p>

<p>Rice has distribution requirements rather than a core curriculum.</p>
