I can’t choose classes until the 14th, but I just wanted to take a look at a few classes beforehand. The BArch curriculum says that we should take MATH 1110 or MATH 1106 or and out-of-college elective. If I place out of them with AP credits, I don’t necessarily have to take any math class right? I’m having a bit of trouble finding classes to fit into the two elective slots.

Also, would it be advisable to take the FWS in first semester or second?

my friends in architecture take language classes because they want to study abroad as their electives. there were a few that took really random classes because they wanted to meet students not in architecture. i think you’d be okay taking your FWS

from the wise words of an architecture student: THE MEDIAN GRADE REPORT BECOME YOUR BEST FRIEND

with architecture classes, they are ALL subjective. make sure you have electives that could help boost your gpa, especially since studio counts for about 1/3 of your grade and it can raise it or drop it.

take classes you like too. unfortunately, the architecture core schedule is pretty much set in stone, so your choice for electives drops significantly. do your fws first semester to get out of the way.

i got a 5 on ap calc, so i placed out of math. becuase of that, i havent taken a math class since senior year of hs ;)
