<p>When you’re selecting your electives for gen ed does your elective have to be part of the list of Liberal Requirements FSU provides you online? I know you have to meet certain requirements (Gordon Rule, multicultural, lit, etc)… but what if you have them and need extra electives. Can I take a foreign language that would be required for my major… or can I take courses outside of Lib Requirements? Let me know if this makes any sense.</p>
<p>I would make sure that I covered all my required general education requirements but most majors also allow for some electives that you can choose besides all the required courses for your major too. You do need 120 credits to graduate. I believe if you are getting a BA degree you will need to take a foreign language in college but a BS does not require it.</p>
