Eli Whitney Students Program 2009

So, any updates, yet?

nothing for me.

nothing for me as well.

No Yale sightings…

Maybe next week, huh? I would think so.

Hey Pressurewave, according to the website, offers are mailed by middle to late June. The interviews can happen sometime in May, or early June, if they are pushing it. They would have to allow the prospects time to make travel arrangements.
I still think the chosen few will be notified soon. The non admittance letters can come at any time. “Rolling” is what the site says.
Willard said last year the deadline was May. They pushed it up to April this year. Maybe they anticipated more applicants this year. That could be the delay.
This is like waiting for the other shoe to drop…

No mail on Sundays here. No mail on Saturday.

I think you’re right Ilivefree. The chosen few would have to be notified soon. But I think they will notify the people for interview on or before May 4th. Everyone else should know something too. Though, I don’t have the first clue.

no mail today. no phone calls.

has anyone heard anything today?

Still haven’t heard anything

nothing for me, either.

Hey! No news today.

I got an interview.

congrats willard! that’s awesome! prep yourself… :)

so, willard, when is the interview then?

who called you? when did they call you?

did you schedule it already?

it’s funny that you’re the ‘first’ to post about an interview in a while, isn’t it?

come on, willard. you don’t expect us to “buy” into your story do you?

the more i think about it, the more i think you are not getting the interview. i don’t believe you got the interview actually, but, hey, who am i to judge. you just don’t have the stats. point blank. given your own stats, you’re not a competitive applicant. look, if they would not even talk to me, why would they even consider a candidate with your numbers?

meg, lighten up. this is supposed to be a fun waiting game, not an attacking one.

Wouldn’t it be funny, if Willard, Megtaylor and AnnaLO, were all the same people???

Hey, megtaylor.

Thanks for your concerns. They really hurt, though. Why are you so against me? I didn’t do anything to you. I have no problems with you.

I didn’t even want to post my decision here. But I did anyway, because I pledged to do it. I am not going back on my pledge.

I have nothing else to say.

Marianne called me. The interview is in mid-May. I live in New England. I have no idea who will interview me. Why does it matter so much?

This is absurd…
