This is just absurd…

Why are people so, how you say, people?

This is just absurd…

Why are people so, how you say, people?

I have no idea, mikel.

i love the word absurd. I love how much mikel uses it. He uses it as much as I use rubbish. People eat it up easier than if you call the words coming out of their mouths trash. Also, hush now rolls over better than shut up when you are trying to say are you serious?
I dont have a quotes key anymore.
Delirium from class assignment is setting in. 4 out of the 5 ppl in my group dropped the class. weeeooo.

Rubbish! I forgot about that word. That’s a great one. Rubbish! Trash! LOL. I just said those to myself out loud!

So what are you going to do now, are you the only one left in your group?

_ken, you’ve got the right attitude, I think. They’ll let you know soon, I’m sure.

okay, so someone messaged me on myspace to tell me that my identity has been “stolen” and someone is saying they’re me, on this board. ha ha, so it appears some of us are losing touch with reality.

pushin30, i’m not sure why you pm’d me what you pm’d me, but please note, i didn’t think it was very nice. i just don’t do conspiracy theories and i don’t think that people on this board are lying unless they state that they are. i assume that humans represent themselves honestly. my trust in humanity is sometimes a disappointment, but shall not change my tendencies.

and on that note, i will “come out of the closet”, so to speak. my name is tacy traverso; i am a real person with real feelings and i really applied to eli whitney.

fyi, this is the weirdest board i have ever participated in.

ilivefree - agreed Gettin’ a little wacky. Gonna step away I think.

pushin30, thanks for the apology. :)

That is crazy ilivefree. Somebody on this forum was sent a myspace link, and had figured out who I was…Cough Cough, Pushin30.

Pushin30 messaged me my own initials. That means, first letter real name, first letter last name. Somehow, she found them online? I have never mentioned my real name on this forum. That means she was doing research. When I asked her about it, she said that is what she does for a living–she’s a head hunter.

Also, I spoke to a couple other people who received similar things. Pushin30 sent megtaylor’s myspace profile around to someone, an article on me (from Harvard), and a myspace profile for Ivy_187.

I’ve been communicating with many people on this forum, and they all told me the exact same thing… THIS IS GETTING STRANGE. MABYE MIKEL IS ON TO SOMETHING!

I think that I’m out of this forum for good. PEACE!

All I know is that Pushin30 goes to Rollins College or something… BUT, at this point, it doesn’t matter. I guess this is goodbye all! I’m starting a new forum.

Apology rescinded Ilivefree. This board is full of ■■■■■■ and you are one of the problems…For the rest of us that ARE actually in the process, best of luck!!!
Final message------------------------------------------------------

wow! what’s the deal with you, pushin30?

this forum is supposed to be fun, and this process is supposed to be fun! i do not like my integrity being questioned, and i don’t understand why you are doing so.

i welcome you to make a case for me being a “■■■■■”, and until then, please keep your negative energy to yourself because it’s kind of ruining the whole point of this forum, TO HAVE FUN in this process!

gee whillakers…

You know what?

Why is Pushin30 accusing everyone of being a ■■■■■?

She did send around a profile for me, an article on willard, and for Ivy_187. But why would you all of a sudden get a myspace message saying your identity was stolen and being used in this forum?

Then to come here and tell people you got the message just says that somebody on this forum probably sent you the message to see if you were a ■■■■■.

WHY CAN’T WE JUST HAVE FUN!!!

From what I know, I could sit here and say, okay, did Pushin30 really go to ROLLINS COLLEGE!

NO. It just doesn’t matter.

I am done posting on the forum, for good!

That’s still really, really, strange though that somebody could find out so much information that they found you on myspace, and then sent you a message about this forum in particular. Identity thefts are not usually related to discussing college, right? That freaks me out, since I got a message with my initials in it… ???

it’s actually not that strange to me, willard; i was in sales for ten years and took pride in the fact that no one could hide from me, thanks to good googling skills. i could find the email for just about any CEO of any company. :)

and my myspace is “ilivefree”, so not too much detective work required.

it is strange that the effort was put in to make sure we’re not ■■■■■■, but the results aren’t that strange. the internet is a vast tool and we’re all a part of it.

cool i want to know if anyone can find something on me thru my nickname since I never used this nickname before in my life, I move around a lot from state to state, country to country, and no one knooooows the elusive jgee!

meg, i’m in full agreement. :)

and jgee, very amusing. :)

Thanks, Pushin30. I did discover that three of those members indeed have the same IP. Anyway, if you can report a post from this thread that would be great.

GET A LIFE!

Which three?

That’s really sad… why would you spend so much time to create three false identities to mess around on a thread where people just want to discuss the program?

Ugh.

I think it’s great that the person who sent me a set of my own initials, and who took the time to try to track down everyone on the forum is telling everyone to get a life.

Also, it’s kinda cool to see that the “contact us” admin person found three people sharing the same IP. That correlates perfectly with Pushin30’s detective work!

When I contacted the admin about Pushin30 sending me my own initials, they did not respond with that form or with that tone.

I’m a little flabbergasted on that… wow. Oh well, guys, ya know… this is supposed to be fun and encouraging and it has definitely become… not. Sort of a bummer since the EWSP students are, theoretically, distinctive students. Oh well. Everyone, hope things work out for you whichever way things swing for you. Everyone here that is a real student is likely to land in a great school one way or another. Nice meeting you all.
