I’ve been wondering if anyone has ever heard of a case where a well-known or highly referenced university professor has opted to take a year teaching at a public high school, or just a random secondary school (or even primary school). Or less of a duration of time.

I’m sure elite schools like thomas jefferson have had opportunities like this, but I was wondering if just run of the mill highschools were graced with acts like these in order to offer some inspiration. I know if Elie Wiesel taught at my high school, a LOT more kids would care about English class.
