<p>What is the Elliot School like?
Do students mainly make friends with students in their school?</p>
<p>the elliot school, especially for under classmen, does not really affect much of your social life in terms of making mainly freidns with the elliott school. in fact, there really isnt much of a divide between schools in terms of friend selection. however, as you get older, more of ur classes will be focused on ur major within ur specific school and then may you start seein a difference.</p>
<p>Elliott, SMPA and CCAS, is all intercalated. High school would have called for a click, but not at GW. We are all colonials. The Engineer School students are a little bit separated, but no one else.</p>

and how are the academics?</p>
<p>Subjectively, I love academics in here. Objectively, teaching for many of the profs is not their main job, they have other occupation outside GW, which makes some office hours difficult. Sometimes they have to cancel classes due to their other obligations. HAving said that, their experience in the field makes up for the things I mentioned above. I hope it helps.</p>

<p>Same here (as downtoearth). D in Elliott, joined a sorority, is a STAR tour guide, part of Ballroom team and has friends from every school on campus. Great choice for her. Classes are challenging but still able to have full social life. Very exciting campus and the students are wonderful…she has no complaints (even with all the snow).</p>
