Elon Early Action

Congrats! Is he a legacy?

Thank you and best of luck for good news. He is not a legacy. He was thrilled and surprised to hear, especially by phone. The biggest shock to me is that he answered his phone

Is Ashley Rose your admissions counselor?

2 years ago my daughters came out a few hours early. Nothing by email just in her portal for ED

Let’s hope…we are already tired but staying up for the news. 9pm would be much better! Good luck to all!

We’ll know soon enough it seems … saw the social media posts.

I have no idea if my son received a call or not because he would not have answered it nor checked voicemail…

My D’s at work so she wouldn’t know either. Really starting to get nervous!!!

Nothing here in NY yet. Not getting my hope up though. It’s a long shot for my DS.

What time is it supposed to go on the Portal?

Most likely it will be at 9pm EST as it has been then in the past 2 years

deferred. Came on portal, not email! Just now

I am so sorry to hear that. I am sure the right college will be waiting for you. Responses are up.

Accepted! No email, I just checked the portal

Accepted just now on the portal!
GPA 3.69 w
SAT 1280
EC - 3 Sport Varsity athlete, Sailing Instructor, a few clubs
State Mass
Major Computer Science

He’s in…$4500 ā€œElon Engagement Scholarshipā€ + one-time $2000 grant for Elon Experience. (based on what we read, thought he would get $6500/year).
I think that is pretty stingy on merit…stats are high for Elon. Happy he is in, but wish they would have made it an easy decision. Now we will have to wait much longer to decide.

No worries"

3.2 GPA
25 ACT

It’s fair to be deferred. He has been accepted to LSU, URI, Albany and Tampa, so he has options.

@sunnyschool What are his stats? My D’s at work until 9. I’m trying to see her chances!

Accepted with 1400 SAT and 4.23 GPA with Presidential Scholarship of $6000 per year! I got an email to check the portal.

My son was accepted. 3.8 Weighted GPA 31 ACT 4 years varsity sports, clubs, service.

Accepted with 29 ACT and 4.15 gpa. No merit as far as I can see, was it listed in the admissions letter?
