My son’s good friend has not heard yet for College Fellows. I don’t know why they are releasing the decisions in bits and pieces, but I would not take it as a bad sign!
Daughter found out Thursday afternoon. Got the ELON COLLEGE fellows 5500 per year and 1k in global research stipend. Funny she got no merit consideration but did get this fellows program.
My daughter got the email Thursday evening with an invite to the Elon Honors Fellows. She decided this morning she is going to accept it ?. We are thrilled.

Anyone get their financial aid package with acceptance of a fellows ?
D was accepted as a Communications Fellow…
We got a separate note yesterday about financial aid. I had thought it would all come together on April 1, but we heard about the fellows decision on March 28 and financial aid on April 2. We know one family that still hasn’t heard a decision about the fellows program.
Does anyone know if there are later chances to get into Fellows? Like apply during freshman year after first semester? ( I know some schools do this with their honors programs, if certain academic standards are met after first semester).
I think the only way to get into the fellows laterally is if someone drops out. So the chances at least I believe are pretty slim.

I’m just happening across this thread as my daughter is very interested in Honors Fellows (she’s a senior now). So for those in it, so far, how is it going? Would love to hear how all the Fellows are enjoying (or not??) their programs. Thank you in advance!
Sound6 … I don’t have any answers but I’m in the same boat as you with a senior daughter very interested in Elon and hoping for honors fellows. Hopefully we will start getting more information soon!

Does Elon Fellows require interview on campus in the spring?
I know that yes, interviews (invitation only based on fellows application review) take place in the Spring, during Fellows Weekend. However, I am not sure if there are off campus options (skype/local alumni) if you cannot go in person.
Did anyone that did NOT get selected for Fellows get additional merit $?
Hi @sunnyschool , my S did not get additional merit after his initial award that he got with his EA acceptance letter. I would doubt that they would award merit in later rounds outside of the Fellows and Scholars. There is a list of merit awards on the web site if you search “elon merit awards.”
