Elon/Tulane/PSU chances?

<p>Hey I’m just trying to get a realistic answer as to what my chances are at some of my top choices. I’m a white male from PA and want to major in theater. I do 4 to 5 plays a year, including plays at an out-of-school theater company. I’m also involved in community service and chorus. I’ve taken 4 AP’s- US History, English Junior and Senior Year, and Psychology. I’m also editor of the literary magazine and am on the newspaper staff.</p>

Math- 640
Writing- 750
Total-2070
GPA- 3.49 (weighted)</p>

<p>I’m aware that my GPA is low. Could someone just chance me for the following schools? I did Early Action at all of them, except Loyola New Orleans and PSU because they’re rolling.</p>

Tulane University
Penn State (Main)
Chapman University
Loyola New Orleans
Emerson College
Fordham University
Rhodes College</p>

<p>1) you should be hearing back from Tulane very soon. I found out from Tulane in late October when I applied. </p>

<p>I think you’re in the ballpark for all of your schools. I mean, Tulane is probably the only one that is a really big “if”. </p>

<p>From my experience, large state schools (PSU) usually look more into test scores, and your test scores are relatively high for the school.</p>

<p>And, you should probably get into Fordham and Elon (they are schools for “average” students). Average is not bad, by the way.</p>

<p>And I can’t see how you wouldn’t get into Emerson, Rhodes, or Loyola NO. </p>

<p>Can’t say too much about Chapman, though. Sorry.</p>
