<p>I recieved an email from American University welcoming to their university and inviting me to join the class of 2013. However, I have yet to recieve any letter through the mail; it is really important for me to get this because I’m desperate to know my financial aid packet and any possible scholarships I may have been given.</p>

<p>Do any of you know of the package is sent by FedEx? I am an American Citizen living in Ecuador, and the postal system kind of sucks here. Still, one of my classmates also applied to American, got in, and already recieved his packet. Is it possible that American hasn’t sent me the packet yet? I got in about a week ago.</p>

<p>You might not have received it only because you are in Ecuador. I’m in NY, and I got mine the same day I got the email, which was awesome. Some other people on this board who are in NY haven’t gotten theirs yet though, even though they got the email.</p>

<p>You shouldn’t worry; if you got the email, you’ll get the packet in the mail soon enough. You still get the entirety of April to compare packaged and make your decision.</p>
