<p>We do it occasionally. I know that I personally have a handful of students that I have interviewed that I truly enjoyed getting to know and have kept in touch throughout the year; I have since e-mailed them, or spoken with them in person to congratulate them on their acceptance. Part of what I enjoy about working for Rochester is that I actually have an opportunity to get to know the students that apply - it makes my job fun, but also very difficult!</p>
<p>zoomx3 - congrats and good luck at MIT or JHU. We’d love to have you at Rochester, but it is obvious you have some excellent schools to choose from.</p>
