Phillyguy, what school did you apply to?
And congrats! I know that you (and many others, including myself!) have been waiting anxiously since we all started hearing about the e-mail acceptances.

I applied to SIS, and I can’t wait.

Cool beans! Got in w/honors.

my friend got an email, which sucks for me but we have the same stats and mine are a bit better!(he lives in the bronx but i live in manhattan)

Has anyone gotten their official letter in the mail yet? Does it come the day after you get your email (that seems to be the pattern). I’m wondering when we’ll know the money part of this. Thanks guys.

Accepted today!

1370/2140 SAT
720 U.S. History, 750 Literature
3.95 UW, 4.7 W
Too many ECs haha

No honors invite or anything, which is kinda disappointing–thus, unless they throw some sizeable merit money my way, AU won’t be in the running…

I guess that sounds terrible. But you wanna pick a school that really wants you, right? :)

i’m accepted, with honors too.

3.95 uw, 6/149, 1390/2070

my first private acceptance, i’m so excited. :D

i got the congratulations envelope the day after i received the email as well…

are they only sending out acceptances…cause i didn’t get mine yet. live in suburban philadelphia

Got in!
3.3uw/4.3w
30 ACT
Awesome Rec’s

Applied to SIS. my email was preety vague though. im guessing i was accepted into the school i applied to right?

and no honors :/

“are they only sending out acceptances…cause i didn’t get mine yet. live in suburban philadelphia”

ek2007… yeah im wondering the same thing! Im in albany and haven’t gotten anything.

did anyone find out about merit money yet or when that usually comes?

accepted!

I’m from about only 70 miles north of DC.

SATs: 1410/2050
GPA: 3.912

Uhhh. Guess not the Honor’s College.

The email arrived late last night…my daughter’s in! ![]()
She applied to the School of International Service and she’s planning to major in IR. We’re in Pennsylvania.
Her stats:
GPA: 4.08w/3.65uw
SAT: 1380/2010
ACT: 29
Good EC’s
Strong Rec’s
Also, for what it’s worth, she visited the campus twice, plus interviewed on campus.

Good luck to everyone still waiting…hang in there!

Accepted into honors…got the e-mail yesterday afternoon. Haven’t visted yet so not sure… ![]()
GPA: 96.5 w
SAT: 1450/2180
decent ECs

Good luck!

Accepted into honors!
ACT: 31

Accepted last night, not into Honors, though.

I’m from Chicagoland, if that helps anyone out.

GPA: 3.5 UW, 3.9 W
Rank: Top 15% (no idea what my exact rank is right now since people have been dropping like flies)
ACT: 30
SAT: 2020/1310
SAT II: USH 670, Lit 690
Good recs
V. good essay (I’m a writer lol)
Meh ECs (I’m only in one EC which I’ve signed my soul over to completely XD)

Honors is based solely on GPA. They said they take (I think) the top 10% GPA of those accepted and they are invited to Honors. The number GPA may defer each year because it is a %. That’s why the SAT and ACT’s vary among them.

So I got accepted into the University College program.

Can anyone tell me what that is exactly?
