email regarding top ten seminars and schedule

I got an email from WCAS today and part of it said the following:

::Third, whether or not you are in a special degree program, let us know
about your plans. Don’t worry: we know that plans change, but telling
us now that you’re thinking about going on to medical or law school;
that you hope to take introductory French, or Arabic, or Chinese; and
that you imagine yourself majoring in Philosophy, or Linguistics, or
Economics will help us to help you make the right choices. Submit this
information using the Top Ten form.

You must submit your anticipated schedule, including the Top Ten
freshman seminars you hope to take, no later than June 1. If you cannot meet
that deadline, or for some reason miss it, call us immediately at
847-491-7560.::

I knew about submitting our top ten choices for seminars on the 23rd, but what’s this about our ANTICIPATED SCHEDULE?

Is anyone else confused or is it just me? I’ve looked over all the distribution requirements and the course catalogue but how are we supposed to know what classes fulfill the requirements? How am I supposed to make a tentative schedule?

Okay, I found this: http://www.wcas.northwestern.edu/advising/dist04-05.html

Are these the approved courses for fall 2005? Or was this just for the previous school year?

It says:

Don’t worry: we know that plans change, but telling us now that you’re thinking about going on to medical or law school; that you hope to take introductory French, or Arabic, or Chinese; and that you imagine yourself majoring in Philosophy, or Linguistics, or Economics will help us to help you make the right choices. Submit this information using the Top Ten form.

I don’t think they mean “anticipated schedule” like, every class at specific times… I think they just want general information about what classes you want to take and a possible major. We’ll see what the form asks for when it comes online, I guess.
