Emailed SFS dean, she emailed back. Transfer questions

Hey,

So a couple of days ago I sat alone in my room and I decided to try something seemingly pointless. I emailed the dean of SFS. What I said was a lengthly example of pathless rambling and stream of consciousness.

A few days later I received a reply, encouraging me to apply for a transfer. I’m now convinced to do so. I will be attending UF next year (early decision) and I’d like to hear some opinions. Should I apply to transfer after 1 or 2 years? A second factor is that UF is almost completely free for me (I qualify for bright futures, a florida program that pays for 100% of tuition if qualified), Georgetown is not.

So what’s your question?

Should I apply to transfer after 1 or 2 years?

I would apply after one and try again if you don’t get in.

Hey Ruo,

You must have emailed someone else because SFS’s dean is not a she; it is a he, and his name is Robert Gallucci.

Assistant dean = ) I forget the name, I can open it up when I’m home
